Mild Steel and Medium Tensile Strength Steel
Also commonly known as: G250, G300, G350. Manufactured to either AS/NZ 3678 or AS/NZ 1594 standards or equivalent European Standard (EN10025). We stock from 2mm to 200mm to give you all the options to meet your needs.

High Tensile
Has a higher yield than conventional steel. We stock an extensive range of G450 and/or equivalent grade as well as Wel-Ten, a 780 MPA Tensile Strength Steel. This is also known in the market as Bis 80. We stock a range of JIS standard grades. High tensile steel goes through a process of quench and temping process after manufacturing.
Primarily used in application when reducing weight and maintaining strength of application is key.

Wear Plate
An abrasion resistant plate measured by way of Brunell Hardness that has 2-5 times scratching abrasion resistant of mild steel.
We stock a comprehensive range of ABREX450 (Nippon Steel produced). Manufactured to JIS or equivalent standards.

Corten
Also known as weathering steel is a corrosion resistant material. When left uncoated it forms a protective layer on the outer surface that protects the material from corrosion. Used in outside applications for decorative applications to bridge construction.
Manufactured to JIS G1325 or equivalent. We stock from 1.6mm – 10mm and can source thicker for your speciality projects.

Chequer Plate
Also known as tread plate, diamond plate or patterned plate. The names describe it best. Made from AS/NZ 1594 250 grade steel and used in applications where tread is required. Standard sizes stocked are 3mm and 5mm. Further thicknesses can be obtained when required.
